Clearwater is one of the 3 major cities in Tampa Bay and is located gulf side just inland from the infamous Clearwater Beach. Although Clearwater Beach is named separately, and located on a barrier island that consists of a 3 mile stretch of beach backed by hotels and shops, it is still considered part of the City of Clearwater.
