Jungle Terrace/Jungle Prada

Jungle Terrace & Jungle Prada are neighborhoods located on the historic west side of St. Petersburg, in between Park St and Country Club road. Jungle Prada backs up to Admiral Farragut Academy, which was formerly the Jungle Prada Hotel, where many famous names passed through, including the notorious Al Capone and baseball legend Babe Ruth. Home to the Narvaez/Anderson Mound, also known as “The Sacred Lands”, a historic Tocobaga Indian burial site dating back to the 1500s, Jungle Prada is rich in history and culture. With a variety of hardwood trees, lush foliage and tropical plants the neighborhood can give the appearance of being in a jungle, thus giving these neighborhoods their names. Within Jungle Prada, you will find a stylish variety of charming and unique homes along the brick lined streets, residential lots larger than most in the area, and beautiful views of nature and the intracoastal. You will also quickly notice the regular sightings of the colorful peacocks, peahens and peafowl that take residence in this neighborhood strolling freely about, adding to the enchanting scenery. This area is centrally located to all Pinellas has to offer, from shopping to dining, the interstate and the beaches to downtown.
